Born and raised in Arkansas, Zaelea is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Arkansas, with plans to graduate in December 2025. Growing up on a farm instilled in her a deep love for animals of all kinds; including horses, dogs, cats, cattle, and chickens.
Zaelea brings over four years of experience in the veterinary field. She began her career as a kennel assistant, progressed to a receptionist, and now works as a dedicated veterinary assistant. She finds great joy in bringing smiles to pet parents by healing and caring for their beloved fur babies and strives to make every animal feel their very best.
Outside of work and school, Zaelea enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, riding her two horses, and playing with her two dogs: Koe, a long-haired dapple dachshund, and Sissy, a red merle Australian Shepherd. She loves being outdoors, traveling, and has recently picked up silversmithing as a new hobby.
